Welcome to the Art of Elxzi
Born in Oregon in 1952 I was raised in the country and small towns all of my childhood. I believe my creativity began while living in Falls City, on the coastal range near Dallas. Population 100, I would bet that today the population is still around 100. I remember being allowed to wander our property which was really just a forest. Our land was adjacent to a very large tract of forest. I would play day in and day out with my dog "Skippy" using my imagination to create castles and forts in my imaginary world. As I became older I discovered that my imagination continued and it was imperative the need to express myself, thus art became my venue of expression and release to my creativity.

One continuing thread to my imagination has carried through all of my life, rock stacking and rocks and wood used as a media. Still today I find myself stacking rocks. I mix the rocks with red lava rock, granite, petrified wood and agates.

I have also incorporated Rock embedded into rock and carving the formation in a natural flow. This artwork is soft red lava rock with polished, unpolished, and semi-polished agates.
